Answer :

20%

Step-by-step explanation:

S. P of 20 boxes=₹1

S. P of 1 box =₹1/20

C. P of 16 boxes is equal to S. P of 20 boxes

C. P of 16 boxes=₹1

C. P of 1 box=₹1/16

Then, gain=1/16 - 1/20

=5-4/80

=1/80

and gain%=gain÷C.P×100% = =1/80÷1/16×100% = =1/80×16/1×100%

=20%

I don't know whether it's correct or not!

let CP of 16 boxes=Rupees 1

so CP of one box=Rupees 1/16

let SP of 20 boxes=Rupees 1

so SP of one box=Rupees 1/20

CP>SP=loss

loss=CP-SP

=RS 1/16- RS 1/20

=RS 5-4/80

=RS 1/80

Loss%= loss/CP×100

=1/80 ÷ 1/16 ×100

=20%
