CP of 24 articles = SP of 15 articles

let CP of 1 article is x rupees

CP of 24 articles = 24 x = SP of 15 articles

that is SP of 1 article is more than CP of one article,so as to balance the equation

CP of 24 articles = SP of 15 articles

So gain % =
 \frac{24x - 15x}{15x} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{9}{15} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{3}{5} \times 100 \\ \\ = 3 \times 20 \\ \\ = 60
gain is 60%

manish8091: the formula of gain percentage was wrong p/
hukam0685: what is the answer
manish8091: same
hukam0685: i know that you might confuse by that gain is calculated on CP, then why i put SP in denominator
manish8091: yes why you put sp as denominator
hukam0685: but in this type of questions,we always put in mind that we have to balance the equation,by that way sp of 1 article is more than cp of one article, thus we have to kept in mind although both are same, still we have to put like that
manish8091: another solution for this question
hukam0685: not at all
hukam0685: keep practicing you will be perfect,Be brainly
manish8091: thanks

Answer:

CP of 24 articles = SP of 15 articles

let CP of 1 article is x rupees

CP of 24 articles = 24 x = SP of 15 articles

that is SP of 1 article is more than CP of one article,so as to balance the equation

CP of 24 articles = SP of 15 articles

So gain % =

{24x - 15x}/{15x} * 100

{9}{15} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{3}{5} \times 100 \\ \\ = 3 \times 20 \\ \\ = 60\end{gathered}

15x

24x−15x

×100

=

15

9

×100

=

5

3

×100

=3×20

=60

gain is 60%

Step-by-step explanation:

CP of 24 articles = SP of 15 articles

let CP of 1 article is x rupees

CP of 24 articles = 24 x = SP of 15 articles

that is SP of 1 article is more than CP of one article,so as to balance the equation

CP of 24 articles = SP of 15 articles

So gain % =

\begin{gathered} \frac{24x - 15x}{15x} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{9}{15} \times 100 \\ \\ = \frac{3}{5} \times 100 \\ \\ = 3 \times 20 \\ \\ = 60\end{gathered}

15x

24x−15x

×100

=

15

9

×100

=

5

3

×100

=3×20

=60

gain is 60%
