overall profit is 4.5 ₹ per hat. therefore for 80 hats is 80×4.5 =360₹

Now, cost price of 80 hats @12₹ is = 960₹

30 hats sold for 14₹ =30 ×14= 420₹

total price when we r gaining 4.5 ₹per hat is

960 +360=1320₹

now for remaining 50 hats =(total price - price of 30 hats)

=1320-420

= 900₹

900₹ for 50 hats

therefore for 1 hat = 900÷50 = 18 ₹
