The cost price of a beer is 340 per litre but a trader is labeling it as 408 per litre. But he mixes 66 2/3% water and gives a 30% discount. Find the profit percentage of trader. ​

so CP=34000 Rs..........(1)

water mixed=66 2/3 litres=200/3 liters

Total beer becomes=100+200/3=(500)/3 liters

Marked price=  Rs 408 / liter

After 30% discout SP==408*70/100=Rs 285.6 /liter

Thus SP of 500/3 Litre beer

SP=(500/3)*(285.6)+Rs 47600..........(2)

% profit=((SP-CP)/CP)*100

= { (47600-34000)/34000)}*100

=(13600/34000)*100

=40 %
