MRP=₹4000
Profit =20%
We have two way to first the Sp and the discount
1st--
20% of 3000
=3000x20/100=600
Sp=3000+600=₹3600
2nd----
Sp=cpx(100+profit)/100
Sp=3000(100+20)/100
=3000x120/100
=₹3600
Now
Discount =MRP-SP
=4000-3600
=400
DISCOUNT %=discount/ mrp x 100
=400/4000 x100
=400/40 =10%
Discount %=10%
