Since Mark price is 25% above Cost prices so MP of the article will be =1.25*2400
=Rs 3000
Now since the article is sold at 15% discount so the Selling price will be 3000*.85=Rs 2550

Now profit =, Sp-Cp
2550-2400
=150
Profit%=(150/2400)*100
6.25%
