Amir Khusro was the great poet in the court of Alauddin Khilji.

1) Samosa khaya kyu nhi ? Juta (shoe) pehna kyu nahi ?
= Tala na tha. (The dish wasn't fried and the shoe didn't had the base.)
2) Ghar kyu andhiyaara (darkness) ? Fakir(beggar) kyu bigda ?
= Diya na tha. ( The diya is an equipment used to lighten up the house at night in India. In its absence there is darkness all over and the beggar gets angry because he got nothing from this place.)
