The COVID-19 pandemic has turned a lot of our dependence onto technology, encouraging the use of electronic gadgets to keep in touch and connect with the rest of the world. Overtime, this has led to increased screen-time on gadgets, thereby engraving a lot of negative impacts on personal health. A lot of people may have become engrossed in the online world, a world that isn't exactly safe. Increased cases of cyber-bullying and data thefts keep getting reported. Since this pandemic has distanced a personal connection between us and our friends/family, we're starting to look up to this online world to find new connections and friends. This too comes with its own negative impacts. People have barely gotten out of their rooms, let alone take a break from their gadgets. This deteriorates health as there is no actual physical activity, unless of course you're someone who looks up workout videos and tries to perform them as the video is playing. A lot of us may even be spending a lot of time video-gaming, that impacts health even more. Some people may be spending hours blasting music into their ears.
It's important to plan your day ahead once you wake up every morning. Take breaks from your work/gadgets. Look out the window (if you've got one) and see how nature has improved. Spend time day-dreaming about random things, Start becoming aware of how fast time is passing and how there are many other alternatives to just sitting in front of a screen. Keep your body active and going, avoid sitting in places for too long. Always keep moving about. Read a book if you'd like. Maybe even just start randomly singing in your room and picturing yourself to be in a music video. The options keep increasing.

As due to covid we are completely depended for mobile or laptops for our studies. And we are using laptops or mobile continuously for many hours. These may harm our eyes. So, the few points are :-
1] View an object that is atleast 2 metre away from you after 1-2 hours
While seeing continuously the same object our eye may cause irration. So, after 1-2 hours try to see an object that is atleast 2-3 m away from you. This will maintain the viewing skill
2] Take a break
While using the laptops or smartphones for a few hours take a 30 min break. This will make your mind refresh and the break will make you feel happy.
