Answer:

Let cp of each mango be ₹x

then, cp of 16 mangoes = ₹16x

sp of 16 mangoes = cp of 18 mangoes = ₹18x

thus, cp= ₹16x and sp = ₹18x

since (sp)>(cp), there is a gain.

gain = ₹ ( 18x - 16x) = 2x.

gain% =( gain/cp * 100 ) %

= (2x / 16x * 100) = 12.5%

Answer:

Let the CP of each mango be 1rupee

CP of 16 mangoes = 16 rupees

SP of 16 mangoes = 18 rupees

SO AS WE KNOW IF S.P IS MORE THAN C.P IT RESULTS IN PROFIT

TEREFORE, S.P-C.P

18-16 = 2 RUPEES

NOW, WE GOT OUR GAIN IN RUPEES AND NOW WE NEED TO FIND GAIN PERCENT

GAIN=(Gain/cp*100)

GAIN=( 2/16*100)=12.5%

THEREFORE, GAIN PERCENT IS 12.5%
