25 cp = 30 sp

1 cp = 30/25 sp

30/25 sp > 1 sp {cross multiplication}

therefore it is a loss [30/25 sp = 1 cp]

loss = cp - sp

=30/25 sp - 1 sp

LCM = 25

loss = 5/25 sp

loss% = {loss/cp} * 100

= {5/25 sp / 30/25 sp} * 100

= {5/25 * 25/30} * 100 {sp gets cancelled}

= 50/3 %

therefore the loss % = 50/3%

Answer:

16⅔ or 16.666

Step-by-step explanation:

cp of 25 article = sp of 30 article

cp×25 = sp×30

cp. 30

sp. 25

hence cp is 30 and sp is 25

cp>sp (it means loss)

loss= cp - sp

= 30-25=5

loss%= (loss/cp)× 100

= 5 × 100

30

=100/6

= 16⅔

hence loss% is 16⅔ or 16.666%

hope it will help u....666.....
