To Find,

Loss percentage =?

Solution,

Let the CP of 1 article be x then we have

SP of 6 articles = 4x

SP of 1 articles = 4x / 6

SP of 1 articles = 2x  / 3

Loss = (Cost price = Selling price)

Loss = (x - 2x/ 3)

Loss = (3x  - 2x)/ 3

Loss = x / 3

Therefore, loss Percentage  = {(x / 3) /x} * 100

Loss percentage  = (1 / 3) * 100

Loss percentage = 33.3%
