The creator was Hajime Isayama. Brought up in his own hometown of Hita. Located in Oita, a prefecture in the rural outposts of Kyushu, Hita can feel as if it is cut off from the rest of civilization. The city is encircled by tall and imposing mountains. Isayama grew up wondering whether monsters lay beyond the “wall”. As in the anime the characters are threatened by the giants called the TITANS. Some of the human characters turn into TITANS in a way of releasing their anger. This how Isayama felt in his teen days.
(the answer may not be that accurate as i have not watched the show/anime/manga)
