Nakoo is the protagonist of the story who lived in the river shallows.
His team’s cricket pitch was on the banks of the river adjacent to his home.
He was not a man-eater and was not attacking by nature.
He was a bit introverted.
He believed in the concept of “live and let live” so he never harmed any human being.
But he was no saint.
When the human beings behaved in a vindictive way he took his revenge by chewing up the ball of the boys playing cricket.
He even took the bank manager on the bed with him when he was asleep.
All these proved that he has human nature.
