area of isoceles triangle=(b/4)(4a²-b²)^½
=(8/4)(4×5²-8²)^½
=2(100-64)^½
=2×36^½

=12 cm²
area of cross section = sum of area of triangle and rectangle
=52+12 =64cm²
2) volume = area of cross section × length
=64cm²× 6m
=64cm²×600cm
=38400cm³
