We know,

Area of trapezium = 1/2× sum of parallel sides × height

= 1/2× (a+b) × h

Now, a = 15 m, b = 8 m and height = h and area of trapezium = 138 m2

.So, putting the respective values, we get

Area of trapezium = 1/2× (a+b) × h

⇒ 138 = 1/2×(15+8)×h

⇒ 138×2 = 23×h

⇒ 138×2/23 = h

⇒ h= 276/ 23 = 12 m

Thus, height = 12 m
