Length of canal at the top=10cm/100=0.1m
Length of canal at bottom=6cm/100=0.06m
Area of cross section of canal=64m^2
Now,
Area of trapezium=1/2(sum of ll sides)×h
64m^2=1/2(0.1+0.06)h
64m^2=1/2×0.16×h
64m^2=0.8×h
64m^2/0.8m=h
h=80m
Length of canal at bottom=6cm/100=0.06m
Area of cross section of canal=64m^2
Now,
Area of trapezium=1/2(sum of ll sides)×h
64m^2=1/2(0.1+0.06)h
64m^2=1/2×0.16×h
64m^2=0.8×h
64m^2/0.8m=h
h=80m
