ZnSO4.xH2O

The molecular mass = 65.4 + 32 + 64 + 18x = 161.4+18x

The mass of anhydrous salt = 161.4

Given 18x * 100/ (161.4+18x) = 43.82

1800x = 7072.55 + 788.76x

x = 7072.55/1011.24 = 6.99 = 7

Therefore the compound is ZnSO4.7H2O
