formula of CSA of cylinder is given below:-

2\pi \: rh

given that

2\pi \: rh = 94.2 \:  {cm}^{2}

let the given statement be equation number 1.

height of cylinder (h) = 5 cm.

pi =3.14

now to find the radius just put the given values in equation no. 1

2 \times 3.14 \times r \times 5 = 94.2

6.28 \times 5 \times r = 94.2

31.4 \times r = 94.2

r =  \frac{94.2}{31.4}

r = 3

Radius of the cylinder (r) = 3cm.

given, CSA=94.2 cm^

Height,h=5 cm

Solution:-

CSA = 94.2

2πrh = 94.2

2*3.14*r*5 = 94.2

3.14*r*5 = 94.2/2

3.14*r*5 = 47.1

3.14*r = 47.1/5

3.14*r = 9.42

r = 9.41/3.14

r = 3 cm^
