★ Radius,r = d/2 = 70/2 cm = 35 cm
Let the slant height of cone be l .
Curved surface area of cone = πrl
➠ 4070 cm² = 22/7 × 35 × l
➠ 4070 = 22 × 5 × l
➠ 4070 = 110 × l
➠ l = 4070/110
➠ l = 37 cm
Thus, the slant height ( l ) of given cone is 37 cm.
