Here we are given the dimensions of the cuboid to be 80 × 20 × 40.

We have to find the edge length of cube

According to the question, the volume of cuboid is equal to the volume of cube

So,

volume of cuboid = volume of cube

length \times breadth \times height \:  =  {(side)}^{3}

80 \times 20 \times 40 =  {(side)}^{3}  \\ 64000 =  {(side)}^{3 }  \\

Therefore,

side =  \sqrt[3]{64000}  \\ side = 40

So, edge length of the cube will be 40 cm.
