x = (4/3)(x-10)

3x = 4(x -10)= 4x - 40

3x - 4x = -40

x = 40

y = (1/11)(x+15)

11y =x + 15 in this equation put x = 40

11y = 40 + 15 = 55

y = 55/11 = 5 years
