The two upper 1ohm resistors are in series, and also the two 2ohm resistors present at the bottom. Their equivalent resistance are 2ohm and 4 ohm respectively.

Now, the two 1ohm resistor is in parallel with 2ohm resistance present just below it. And the equivalent resistance comes out to be 1ohm.

Similarly for the other part, the two 2ohm resistors are in parallel combination with the 4 ohm resistor. Their equivalent resistance comes to be 2 ohm.

Equivalent resistance of the circuit = 1 ohm + 2ohm = 3ohm

Current = V/R = 6/3 = 2ohm

So current through the AB part will be 2 ohm.
