The current through 12 watt tungsten filament lamp connected to 12 V battery is 3 A. calculate energy consumed in joules in one hour.

I=3A pd= 12V
V=IR
12V=3*R
R=4Ω
Energy consumed = V²t/R
=144*60/4
=2160 J
