the curved surface area of a clased cylinder is 208cm^2 and if its diameter is 14 find its total surface area

DIAMETER OF CYLINDER = 14

RADIUS = D/2 = 14/2 = 7CM

CSA OF CYLINDER = 2πRH

208 = 2×22/7×7×H

H = 208/44 = 4.72 CM

TSA OF CYLINDER = 2πR(H+R)

= 2×22/7×7(4.72+7)

= 44×11.72 = 515.68 CM²

HENCE,

TOTAL SURFACE AREA OF CYLINDER = 515.68 CM²
