Answer:

Given,

The curved surface area (CSA) of a cone = 308cm²

Radius = 7 cm

Let the slant height be'ℓ'

CSA of cone = πrℓ

308 = 22    ×  7 × ℓ

         -----

          7

308 = 22 × ℓ

ℓ = 308

  ---------

     22

ℓ = 14 cm

∴ Slant height of the cone = 14 cm

Total surface area of the cone (TSA) = ∏r ( ℓ + r)

= 22    ×  7 ( 14 + 7)

-------

   7

= 22 × 21

= 462 cm²

∴ TSA of the cone = 462 cm²

HI GOOD SOUL HERE.

HERE IS YOUR ANSWER MATE.

HEY U HAVE SOME SPELL ERROR IN QUESTION IT IS CM YOU GIVEN AS EM.

GIVEN:

C.S.A: 308 SQ CM

RADIUS: 7 CM

TO FIND:

T.S.A: ?

SOLUTION:

C.S.A = πRL =308 ........1

R = 7 ..........2

T.S.A = πRL + πR SQUARE ........3

SUBSTITUTE 1 & 2 IN 3:

T.S.A = 308 + π7 SQUARE

T.S.A = 308 + 49π

T.S.A = 308+49×22/7

T.S.A = 462 SQ CM

THANK YOU.
