Find:-

  • The required slant height

Solution:-

Diameter of cone = diameter/2

‎ = 70/2

‎ ‎ = 35cm

Curved surface area of a cone is = πrl

➪ πrl = 4070

➟ 22/7 × 35 × 1 = 4070

➟ 22× 51 = 4070

➟ 1101 = 4070

➟ 1 = 4070/ 110

➟ 1 = 37 cm

Hence, the slant height of the cone is = 37cm
