Answer:

Curved surface area of a cylinder is 2πrh.

Given curved surface area of a cylinder is 1320 cm2 .

2πrh = 1320 cm2 .--------(1)

Given volume of the cylinder is 2640 cm3 ,

Volume of the cylinder is πr2h.

πr2h = 2640 --------(2)

Divide (2) by (1) we get

πr2h / 2πrh = 2640 / 1320

r / 2 = 2

r = 4 cm.

Now 2πrh = 1320

2 x (22/7) x 4 x h = 1320

h = (1320 x 7) / (44 x 4)

h = 52.5 cm.

∴ height of the cylinder = 52.5 cm.

Answer:

Curved Surface Area = 1320 sq cm

Volume = 2640 cu cm

CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

=> 1320 = 2 × 22/7 × rh

=> rh = 210

=> h = 210/r ...(1)

Volume of cylinder = πr^2h

=> 2640 = 22/7 × r^2 × h

=> r^2 × h = 840

Put (1):

=> r^2 × 210/r = 840

=> r = 840/210

=> r = 7 cm

h = 210/r = 30 cm

Thus, height = 30 cm
