Formula used :

Volume of cylinder = π²h

CSA of cylinder =2πrh

Solution :

We are given that

CSA = 112π m²

height of cylinder = 8 m

So, putting value

112π=2πrh

112π = 2π×r×8

56/8 = r

r = 7 m

Volume of cylinder = πr²h

=π ×49× 8

= 392π

Cost of milk content in the vessel

= 392π × 45

= 17640×22/7

= Rs 55440
