Step-by-step explanation:

base area =38.5sqcm

πr²=38.5

r²=38.5*7/22

r²=(7/2)²

r=7/2 cm--(1)

csa of the cylinder = 2πrh---(2)

given csa =176cm----(3)

(2) =(3)

2*22/7*7/2*h =176

22h=176

h=176/22

h=8cm

volume = πr²h

= 22/7* 7/2*7/2*8

=308cm³

Given:-

C.S.A = 176^2

Base = 38.5^2

To find:-

Volume of cylinder

Solution

Diameter = 38.5^2

Radius=38.5/2

= 19.25^2

2πrh = 176

2× 3.14 ×19.25 × h =176

h= 176×7/2×22×19.26

h=1.45 ^2

Now volume of cylinder = π r^2h

=3.14 × 19.25^2 ×1.45

=171,710.83528
