Given:

✩ Curved Surface Area = 440 cm²

✩ Radius = 5 cm.

To find:

✩ Height in terms of π

Method:

Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

→ 440 = 2πrh

→ 440 ÷ 2 = πrh

→ 220 = πrh

→ 220 = π × 5 × h

→ 44 = πh

→ h = 44 ÷ π

 \implies \sf{h = 44  \div \pi } \\  \\  \implies \sf{h = 44 \div  \dfrac{22}{7} } \\  \\  \implies \sf{h = 44 \times  \frac{7}{22} }  \\  \\  \implies \sf{ \boxed{ \sf{h = 14 \: cm}}}

Hence height of cylinder = 14 cm
