Answer:

Curved surface area of cylinder =4400cm

Circumference of it's base =2πr

110=2×22/7×r

110×7/2×22=r

770/44 =r

Curved surface area of cylinder =2πrh

4400=2×22/7×770/44×h

4400=110h

4400/110=h

40 cm =height

volume of cylinder=πr^2h

=22/7×(770/44)^2×40

38500cm^3

Answer:

height of the cylinder is 40 cm and the volume of the cylinder is 38500 cm³ .

Step-by-step explanation:

curved surface area of the cylinder = 2\pirh

given , csa = 4400 cm²

2 x 22 / 7 x r x h =  4400

r x h = 700

circumference of the base of cylinder = 2\pir

given , circumference = 110 cm

2 x 22/7 x r = 110

r = 35/2 cm

if r x h = 700

then h = 40 cm

volume of the cylinder = \pir²h

= 22/7 x 35/2 x 35/2 x 40

= 38500 cm³ .
