Hi ,
Let r and h are the radius and height of the
cylinder ,
CSA of the cylinder = 264m²
2πrh = 264-------( 1 )
Volume of the cylinder = 924 m³
πr²h = 924 --------( 2 )
Divide ( 2 ) with ( 1 ) , we get
( πr²h ) / ( 2πrh ) = 924 / 264
r /2 = 7/2
r = 7 m
Diameter ( d ) = 2r = 2 × 7 = 14 m
Substitute r = 7 m in equation ( 1 ) , we get
2πrh = 264
2 × ( 22/7 ) × 7 × h = 264
h = 264 / ( 2 × 22 )
h = 6 m
I hope this helps you.
