Curved surface area of cylinder = 3168 cm².

• Height = 42cm .

To find :

• Radius of the cylinder :

Solution :

• As we know that :

Curved surface area of the cylinder= 2πrh

Here , r is radius and h is height .

• Put the given values :

=> CSA of cylinder = 2 π rh

=> 3168 = 2 (22/7)(r)(42)

=> 3168= (44×6)r

=> r = 3168/264

=> r= 12 cm.

Hence, the radius is 12 cm .
