Let the radius of base and height of the cylinder berandhrespectively.Given:Circumference of base = 110 cm⇒ 2πr= 110 cm ...(i)and Curved surface area = 4400 cm2⇒ 2πrh= 4400 cm2⇒ 110 cm ×h= 4400 cm2⇒h= 4400/110 = 40 cmHence, required height of the cylinder is 40 cm.
