Solution
Let the radius of a cylinder be (x)cm.
C.S.A of a cylinder = 2πrh
=> 88 = 2 × 22/7 × r × 14
=> 88 = 88r
=> r = 88/88
=> r = 1
Hence , the radius of the cylinder is 1cm.
Diameter = 2r
= (2 × 1)cm
= 2cm
