the curved surface area of a right circular cylinder of height 14 cm is 88 CM square find the diameter of the base of the cylinder

Given---

Height(h) = 14 cm.
C.S.A. = 88 cm²

Using the Formula,
           C.S.A = 2 × π × r × h
               88 = 2 × (22/7) × r × 14
                r = 88/88
                r = 1 cm.

Thus, Radius of the Cylinder is 1 cm.

We know, Diameter = 2 × Radius
                                = 2 × r
                                = 2 × 1
                                = 2 cm.

Thus, the diameter of the Cylinder is 2 cm.
