Answer:

Given , The height of cylinder =14cm

and , the curved surface area of cylinder =88cm²

we know that ,

the curved surface area of cylinder =2πrh

and 2r=d

here , r=radius of cylinder , d=diameter of cylinder and h=height of cylinder

so , the curved surface area of cylinder =πdh =88cm²

π×d×14=88

22/7 ×d×14=88

d=2cm

so, the diameter of the cylinder is 2cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given , The height of cylinder =14cm

and , the curved surface area of cylinder =88cm

2

we know that ,

the curved surface area of cylinder =2πrh

and 2r=d

here , r=radius of cylinder , d=diameter of cylinder and h=height of cylinder

so , the curved surface area of cylinder =πdh =88cm^2

π × d × 14= 88

7/22 × d × 14 = 88

d=2cm
