Solution :–

Curved surface area of the cone = 528

→ πrl = 528

→ $\sf \dfrac{22}{\cancel{7}} \times r \times \cancel{21} = 528$

→ $\sf 22 \times r \times 3 = 528$

→ $\sf r = \dfrac{528}{22 \times 3}$

→ $\sf r = \dfrac{\cancel{528}}{\cancel{66}}$

→ $\sf r = \dfrac{\cancel{176}}{\cancel{11}}$

→ $\sf r = 16$

Hence,

The radius of the base is 16cm.
