curved surface area of cylinder = 1760 cm²
&
volume of cylinder = 24640 cm³

we have to find:
height of cylinder= ?.

solution:-
we know that ;
curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh
&
volume of cylinder = πr²h

here,
according to given;
C.S.Area = 1760

=> 2πrh = 1760

=> πrh = 1760 / 2 = 880

and
volume = 24640

=> πr²h = 24640

=> πrh × r = 24640

=> 880 × r = 24640

=> r =24640/ 880

=> r = 28 cm

now,
putting the value of 'r' in
2πrh = 1760

=> 2π × 28 × h = 1760

=> h = 1760 /56π

=> h = ( 1760 / 56 ) ×( 7/22 )
no you go on

Let height be h cm and radius be r cm

22/7 r^2 h = 24640
=> r^2h =1120*7
=>h = 7840/r^2
Now,
2*22/7*r*h =1760
=>r*7840/r^2=1760*7/44
=>7840/r=280
=>r=28cm
So,h=7840/784=10cm.hope this helps...
