Step-by-step explanation:

CSA of cylinder=2πrh

1760=2πrh

1760=2×22/7×rh

280=rh. ......(1)

Volume of cylinder=πr^2h

12320=22/7×r^2×h

3920=r(rh)

3920=r(280)

14=r.................(2)

PUTTING VALUE OF R IN EQUATION 1

280=14h

20=h

The height is 20 cm.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : The curved surface area of cylinder is 1760 cm square and it's volume is 12320 cm cube.

To Find : Its height ?

Solution :

The curved surface area of cylinder is 1760 cm square.

i.e. 2\pi rh=1760  .....(1)

The volume of cylinder is 12320 cm cube.

i.e. \pi r^2 h=12320  .....(2)

Divide (2) by (1),

\frac{\pi r^2 h}{2\pi r h}=\frac{12320}{1760}

\frac{r}{2}=7

r=14

Substitute in (1),

2\times \frac{22}{7}\times (14)\times h=1760

h=\frac{1760\times 7}{2\times 22\times 14}

h=20

Therefore, the height is 20 cm.
