the curved surface area of cylinder is 264 m square and its volume is 924 metre cube find the ratio of its height to its diameter

CSA OF CYLINDER = 2πrh = 264

⇒ rh = 264 * 7 /22 * 2

⇒ rh = 42 cm²

VOL. OF CYLINDER = πr²h = 924

⇒ r²h = 924 * 7 /22

⇒ r*r*h = 294

⇒ 42r = 294

⇒ r = 7cm

⇒ d= 14cm

rh = 42

h = 6cm

h/d = 6/14 = 3/7
