Answer:

\red\bigstar \boxed{\boxed{\boxed {Height\: of \: the \: cylinder = 14cm.}}}

  SOLUTION

Given

Curved Surface Area of Cylinder (CSA) = 440 cm².

Radius(r) of the cylinder = 5 cm.

To Find

We have to find the height of the cylinder.

ANSWER

Let us assume that the height of the cylinder is 'h' cm .

Formula of CSA of cylinder = 2πrh.

Here, CSA = 440 cm².

\implies 2πrh = 440\longrightarrow (1)

On putting the value of π and r in (1) , we get

\sf 2*\dfrac{22}{7} *5*h = 440

2 × 22 × 5 × h = 440 × 7

220 × h = 3080

\sf h = \dfrac{3080}{220}

\red\bigstar h = 14cm.
