The curved surface area of cylinder is 88cm2 and height is 14cm. Find diameter of base ​

=>  2πrh =  88cm^{2}

=> 2 ×\frac{22}{7} × r × 14 = 88

=> 2 × \frac{22}{7} × 14 × r = 88

=> 88 × r = 88

=> r = \frac{88}{88}

=> r = 1

We have got the radius of the base area of the cylinder.

∴ Diameter of the cylinder = 2 × 1 cm

                                             = 2 cm (Ans)

CSA of cylinder = 2×22/7 x r x 14

88cm2 = 2x22/7 x r x 14

88/2 = 22/7 x r x 14

44 = 44 x r

r= 44/44

r =1 cm

D = 2r

= 2x 1 = 2 cm
