The cost of cleaning of the curved surface of two cylindrical pillars  is Rupees 18.84.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

The curved surface cylindrical pillar's diameter is 50cm.

The curved surface cylindrical pillar's height is 4meter.

The cost of cleaning  of cylindrical pillar at the rate of rupees 1.50 per square meter.

To Find:

The cost of cleaning of the curved surface of two cylindrical pillars at the rate of rupees 1.50 per square meter.

Formula Used:

the curved surface area of a cylindrical pillar S = 2\pi\ p\ q ---- equation no.01

where

p=the curved surface cylindrical pillar's radius.

q=The curved surface cylindrical pillar's height.

Solution:

As given-the curved surface cylindrical pillar's diameter is 50cm.

Diameter  =50cm = 0.50 meter

Radius\ p = \frac{Diameter}{2} =\frac{0.50}{2} =0.25\ meter

As given-the curved surface cylindrical pillar's height is 4meter.

q= 4meter

Putting values of p and q in formula no.01.

the curved surface area of a cylindrical pillar S = 2\pi \times0.25\times4 \ meter^{2}

                                                                                 = 6.28 \ meter^{2}

As given-the cost of cleaning  of cylindrical pillar at the rate of rupees 1.50 per square meter.

The cost of cleaning  of one the curved surface  cylindrical pillar = 6.28 \times 1.5 = Rupees\ 9.42.

The cost of cleaning  of two the curved surface  cylindrical pillar = 2\times 9.42 = Rupees\ 18.84.

Thus,the cost of cleaning  of two the curved surface  cylindrical pillar is Rupees 18.84.
