l = slant height

Solution

⟹352 square=πrl

⟹352cm2=22/7×8×l

⟹ 2464/22=8l

⟹112=8lcm

⟹l= 112/8

⟹ l=14cm

By Pythagoras theorem,

(Slant height)² = (height)² + (radius)²

height= √(14) square−(8) square

height= √196−64

height= √132

⟹height=11.4cm

therefore height of cone i11.4cm
