In 2019 India got hit from Tauktae cyclone storm centered in Gujrat. It was a huge storm spanning 1400Km with speeds upto 134 mph. Due to cyclone,
around 169 people lost their lives in India, and many other are still not found. Consequently more than 0.5 million people had to leave their native places in Gujrat this storm not only flooded the city but led to serious power outages and destruction causing many causalities also

- In 2021 ,Gujarat was hit by Tauktae cyclone which was as strong as 1998 cyclone.
