Vacuoles are large, membrane-bound space within a plant cell that is filled with fluid. Most plant cells have a single vacuole that takes up much of the cell. It helps maintain the shape of the cell.
thus the cytoplasm and nucleus are pushed towards periphery.

Vacuole in the cell are responsible for the movement of cytoplasm towards the periphery.

Vacuole.

Vacuole is a most important part in plant and fungus cell than in animal cells.

It is a membrane-bound organelle which is a sac made to store solid and liquid content in a cell which are mostly wastes. The cell can change the vacuole’s size and shapes as needed hence the vacuole has no specific shape and size and possibly take large size if needed.

They perform some important functions like.

It keeps some harmful substance not to mix with the cell.

It holds solid and water wastes in the cell.

It keeps the internal acidic pH of the cell in a constant level.

It will keep kicking out the things that the cell no longer needed.
