Question

the daigonal of rhombous is 16 cm and 30 cm find its perimeter.

Answer

we can write it as8 cm +8 cm = 16 cm and 15 cm + 15 cm = 30 cm

Since diagonal of a rhombus bisects each other

By using the formula of pythagoras.

 \large\boxed{\bf{(h) ^{2}  =  {(p)}^{2}  +  {(b)}^{2} }}

Put values in the formula.

\implies\bf{( h )^{2} = ( 8 )^{2} + ( 15 )^{2}}

\implies\bf{( h )= ( 64 ) + ( 225 )}

\implies\bf{h²= 289}

By taking square root on both sides.

\implies \bf{{\sqrt{h}^{2}}}= {\sqrt{289}}

\implies\bf{h=17}

Perimeter of the rhombus = 4 × side

= 4 × 17

= 68cm Ans

Therefore the perimeter of thrombus is 68cm.
