Given:-

•The daily wages of A and B are 3.50 rupees and 2.50 rupees.

•When A finished a certain work he gets 63 rupees.

•When B finished a certain work he gets 75 rupees.

To Find:-

•Cost of the work when they both works together.

Solution:-

Using Formula:

 \:  \:  \sf \: time \: taken =  \frac{total \: wages}{one \: day \: wage}

Now put on formula and find the cost of the work

time taken by A = 63/3.50 = 18 days

time taken by B = 75/2.50 = 30 days.

time taken by A and B together to do the work

 \:  \:  \sf \:  \frac{a  \times  b}{a + b}

Now put values here

 \:  \:  \sf \:  \frac{18 \times 30}{48}  \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \:  =  \frac{45}{4} days \\  \\  \:  \:  \sf \: total \: wages =  \frac{45}{4}  \times (3.50 + 2.50)   \\  \\ \:  \:  \sf \:  =  \frac{45}{4}   \times 6 = 67.50 \: rupees

Hence,total wages when they both work together is 67.50 rupees.
