Answer:

let x be the numerator

denominator = x+4

ATQ,

we have,

x+4= 3

(x+4)-4 2

2(x+4)= 3(x)

8= 3x-2x

x= 8

denominator= x+4 = 8+4= 12

the number is 8/12

considering 4 is to be subtracted from the denominator too.
